Yes, the project has been on hiatus some time. Currently has a broken trans. The future remains to be seen, but more videos soon.

I've been really bad at posting. I have more footage than this during the build process but that will have to wait until later. I am so agonizingly close to getting this thing back up and going again, but there are some serious issues to work out first on my hilariously limited budget.

UPDATE TO THE INJECTOR SITUATION: Do NOT attempt to plumb into this kind of injector the way they are seen in this video. It is not secure enough. The best (cheap) way to connect a fuel supply to these injectors is to retain a stub of the stock hard nylon fuel line where it pushes into the injector. Stock GMC syclone/typhoon turbocharger and manifolds. Just finished welding up the downpipe. Looks ok for having being done with a Harbor Freight flux core welder. See my other videos on the truck for some more info on the build.

A continuation of the progress from previous videos. It was a relief to have it fire right up with all the alterations to the wiring harness. Battery mounted in the bed. I think I need to add an additional ground to the engine block to fix the low starter output. Or perhaps the battery is low. :P

Been re-doing the wiring harness of the s10 to my liking, getting everything routed the way I want it. This is a 1997 harness I previously re-pinned for a 2001-2002 ECU.

Pretty sweet. I have a '96 4x4, v6 5 speed with manual shift transfer case. paid $600 4 year ago, it was missing reverse and 5th, I replaced the shift fork, no problem. Sprayed it smoke grey rust oleum, $50 and looks good. DVD player stereo, has a sd card slop, 586 gig memory.. I have a wench hidden under the front. I made custom bumpers outta square tubing and where the black molding 2 1/2" down each side, I took the old diamond plate tool box, cut into 2" strips and drilled and rivetted it down both sides. I was thinking LS swap but then I see the turbo you have but gotta figure out the injector. This has the nv 3500 trans. I love my 4x4 cuz of mountains and snow here in Colorado. I like set uo.
4x4 v6 5spd is damn rare, took me a year to find one. Got a super rough 97’ so push button t case unfortunately. Was only 400$ at least

How did you make the exhaust manifold? Any luck ever with the intake manifold and bigger injectors or did you scrap this project?
How come you don't have a blowout valve and a wastegate that'll stop it from running over. It's not releasing the excess pressure.

this cool another Washington builder makes me happy as hell and doing a s-10 turbo build as well so i came across your videos look to see what i can do for the spider injection system and i seen about the decapping because im doing a typhoon clone build and i have been pondering getting a intake that i want for a v8/LSX and cutting it down and rewelding up to fit our wonderful 4.3's that way there's way more options for bigger inj and NOS if i wanted but awsome buid cant wait to see it completed and if you happen to have thoughts on the intake info let me know.

Boutta boost my 4.3 2003 blazer zr2 anyone have any recommendations on turbos or kits that would make installing easier
Unfortunately, nothing is easy about building a reliable boosted engine with one of these in particular. You will need to find or fabricate some sort of multiport intake manifold. Your 2003 might have the right ECU already but you will have to double check. It's typically known as the 0411. The turbo and manifolds came from either a cyclone or typhoon and I scored a lucky buy at $300 for those. I'm not sure if I would push the stock bottom end past 400 WHP.

Look for the sprung wire type clamps, believe me as a former classic VW owner, you don't want that fuel line igniting everything up

I would really like to know what you’re doing with the map sensor and what are you using for Toning
So a thought occurred to me once. What if a guy used a trans cooler and a small electric oil pump maybe from a old skidoo and a large oil catch can for a resivour . And used smokeless 2 stroke oil to lube the turbo would it be better for the turbo? It's engineered for high rpm and if your turbo seals were weak you could just get like strawberry scented smokeless oil and then pick up babes. I mean if your tail pipe smells good ;) but seriously though you would never have to circulate cooked oil back into your engine.

Yep, it was an unreinforced PVC drain coupling. I had the extra header wrap and zip ties tightly around it to provide a little supplemental reinforcement. It worked fine for the time I kept it.
5lbs at 1500? Your video showed maybe 4 at 2500. Not early at all.
That new pump is still loud. You don't have ac pump dont have the ac delete pulley. Check tension of new belt. What setup is belt exactly for?
